Data Scientist @ Kochi Offshore Development Center

Looking for expert level data scientists to engage in exploratory machine learning techniques in the areas of predictive maintenance, optimization of energy and other utility usage etc. This is a key position and will work with other stakeholders to develop new product features

Responsibilities:
● Help define and scope work required to build and maintain ML systems and models
● Ensure the quality and robustness of such models
● Oversee any and all data science platform changes and feature development
● Work with other technology and business stakeholders to identify areas where data science features are required
● Work with other technology stakeholders to identify and implement best practices for data management
● Work with integration teams to scope out new data sets for training as well as oversight of integration development within the engineering team
● Work with design and UI team to build intuitive dashboards to provide actionable insights to the customer
● Research approaches in data science that address problems outlined by the product team

Requirements:
● 4-5 years data science experience in Python/R/Java, Apache Spark, Tensorflow, Scikitlearn, pandas etc
● Natural language processing techniques
● Machine-learning techniques with focus on Predictive Algorithms
● Knowledge of Big Data Architectures like Hadoop/Hive
● Strong programming experience
● experience with SQL and/or NoSQL
● experience working with real world time series data is a plus
