AEC has won the Engineering Masters League cricket tournament title beating TKM by 5 wickets in the final. This was the first season of the tournament where 4 teams participated – TRACE and hosts MES apart from the finalists.

The tournament was played in a round robin format with each team playing the other 3 teams, with the top 2 teams qualifying for the final. There were some close games and in the end, AEC came out on top.
Best batsman and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition.
For AEC, Abdul Samad was the outstanding player with impressive performances throughout the competition. He won 3 Man of the match awards, including the final. He was also adjudged the best batsman and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition.
The final provided a fitting culmination of the competition with a thrilling high-scoring game. In the end, the splendid partnership between Samad (122*) and Zakeer (64) proved to be the game changer and helped AEC triumph against a spirited TKM.
It was a display of great team spirit and commitment from the AEC team with players travelling long distances as well as some braving injuries to contribute to the team’s win.
